Rescheduled Field Trip

Hello again! I just wanted to let you know that we have rescheduled
our field trip for tomorrow. We will leave and return at the same
time. Please be sure that all children bring a lunch from home to
eat while we are there. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Dear Parents,

Weather permitting, Kindergarten and 1st grade will be making their
way to Breezy Hills Pumpkin Patch tomorrow morning. PLEASE be sure
to send $7.00 in the morning if you have not paid yet. I am missing
money from several students and it must be turned into the school
office before we depart for our trip.

ALL CHILDREN NEED TO BRING A LUNCH TO EAT ON OUR FIELD TRIP. We will
be having a picnic before we return to school.

There is not room for parents available on the bus. However, parents
are welcome to meet us here at school and follow the bus or meet us
there.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate.
However, we have other arrangements made if we have to cancel. I will
keep you posted on any changes.

Friday, October 24th

OLMC School has an 11:00 dismissal tomorrow (Oct. 24). Extended Care will be open,
but students need to bring a sack lunch if they plan to attend. Public schools
will also dismiss early, so the school bus schedule will run on an 11:00 dismissal
schedule. Make sure bus riders let us know in the morning if they are planning to
ride the bus.

Please note tomorrow's faculty in-service will be our annual emergency
preparedness training. Please do not be alarmed if you notice police cars at the
school after lunch. We are just learning how to better prepare our school in the
event of an emergency.

Lifetouch came to our school today to do picture re-takes and candid shots for the
yearbook. If your child had their picture taken and you did not send the order
form or payment to school, you may contact Lifetouch within 48 hours to place your
order and get free shipping. After 48 hours, you may still order but you will
have to pay shipping on the order. Please contact Lifetouch at (618) 288-7896
with questions.

11:00 Dismissal

Dear Parents,

I just wanted to remind you and school will dismiss at 11:00
tomorrow, October 24th so that teachers can attend an In-service
workshop about school safety. Children who are attending Extended
Care in the afternoon should bring a lunch from home.

Book order help

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me out with some
housekeeping business in Kindergarten? If you ordered books from our
very FIRST book order (September) and paid using a check, would you
please check to see if that check has cleared? I am almost certain
that I mailed this payment in September; however Scholastic says that
they have not recieved the payment. I am hoping that checks have
cleared and it was just not posted correctly. If you can help at all
with this situation, I would GREATLT appreciate it.
